I can’t believe we are halfway through November. It seems like we just got done with Halloween. And what a great Halloween it was! On the day, I started my night with a costume malfunction. I had planned to go as Marilyn Monroe. I put my hair up in curlers (which takes a while), and did the sexy eye makeup. Then I pulled out the dress I had made a few years back, and as soon as I put it on, I realized I had completely forgotten that there was a part in the back that just didn’t look right. I just couldn’t wear it, so I started pulling everythinging out that I could find. I finally settled on my classic Star Trek mini red dress. And I mean mini. Standing up it barely covers everything, so I pulled on the Black bottoms to my tankini over tan tights, and my knee high black leather boots. One big bummer is that when I took my curlers out, my hair started going flat right away. My friend helped me tease it up big and I put on a black headband.
Well after all that was settled, we went to go see the costume parade! It was awsome! This one group of men dressed up as the Chinese women’s gymnasics team. Then we went back to her place to get the night started right with margaritas before heading over to the annual party. I don’t know what was in those Jello shoots or mystery punch, but I don’t remember getting back to her place that night. I do remember dancing and making out with a girl. So it was a great time!
